Community Involvement

Manufacturers Direct Eyewear (MDE) is deeply rooted and committed to the community. John Lombardi, MDE founder and President has been involved for over a decade in the Deerfield Beach Chamber of Commerce and serves as its current Chairman. The MDE building is a result of a strong cooperative effort with the city of Deerfield Beach and the Community Redevelopment Agency.

For the past 5 years John Lombardi has mentored local students in support of  the Neighborhood Initiative Program where area students learn about business and life skills at Manufacturers Direct Eyewear operations.

MDE offers discounts to City employees, Police and Firefighters, civil and non-profit organizations. The success that has been achieved with these programs represent just some of Manufacturers Direct Eyewear's commitment to giving back.

Community discounts for Members of the Chamber of Commerce, Lions Club, Boys and Girls Club Members and families, JM Family members and our friends at Focal Point.
